Bath Street Pastors

PLEASE NOTE due to COVID-19 Street Pastor patrols have been temporarily suspended.

Bath Street Pastors, part of the Ascension Trust, patrol the streets of Bath every Friday and Saturday night, ensuring that vulnerable people are kept safe at night.

With 50 volunteers from 27 church congregations, they work alongside other organisations in the city, such as the Bath Nightwatch scheme. Their mission is to be a reassuring presence on the streets and make sure everyone gets the help they need to get home safely.

In 2016 – 2017 the Bath Street Pastors helped 274 vulnerable people, attended 31 antisocial incidents, cleaned 5000 bottles of the streets, and provided 228 pairs of shoes and 239 blankets.
